Description

The Pentair 522465 is the EasyTouch indoor control panel for the PL4 and PSL4 pool and spa control systems. It is the genuine Pentair part, with a clear LCD display and an enclosure measuring 12 inch by 12 inch by 6 inch.

What it is for

EasyTouch does the switching at the equipment pad, but the indoor panel is where most owners actually operate the system. It mounts inside the house and puts the pump, heater, lights and spa modes on a screen in the kitchen or hallway rather than out at the pad in the dark.

Replacing a panel

Indoor panels fail from age, moisture in a garage install or a lightning event on the communication line. The system itself keeps running at the load center when the panel goes, which is why a panel swap is usually the whole repair. Confirm the system is a PL4 or PSL4 before ordering, since other EasyTouch configurations use their own panels.
