Description

The Hayward AXV417WHP is the white pod kit for the PoolVac Classic and PoolVac XL suction pool cleaners. It is the genuine Hayward replacement, in the same molded plastic as the original.

What the pods do

The pods are the parts of the cleaner that ride on the pool surface. They take the abrasion so the body of the cleaner does not, which makes them a consumable rather than a permanent component. As they wear down, the cleaner sits differently on the floor and its path around the pool changes.

Before you order

Check that your cleaner is a PoolVac Classic or PoolVac XL, and note that this is the white kit. Hayward offers pod kits in more than one color, so pick the one that matches what is already on the cleaner.
