Pentair 475985 is the gas shut off switch replacement kit for the ETI 400 heater, rated at 150F. Pentair also lists it as the ETI 400 AGS 150F replacement.

What it does

The gas shut off switch sits in the heater safety chain. If conditions move outside the range the heater is allowed to run in, the switch opens and gas flow stops. That is a design that fails safe, which means a switch that has failed leaves the heater dead rather than dangerous.

Before you order

Check the rating marked on the switch you are removing. This is the 150F kit, and heater safety switches are built in several ratings. If the heater is not firing, the stack flue sensor, the thermal fuse and the control board are the other ETI 400 parts in the same circuit worth eliminating before you settle on this one.
