Description

The Pentair 590103Z is the diffuser for the Pentair ColorVision LED light bubbler, sold on its own as the Brand OEM part. Pentair’s replacement parts list shows it as item 1 for the ColorVision bubbler.

Where it sits

Pentair’s ColorVision installation guide describes the diffuser as a white ring with many small holes. It seats in the niche with the concave side up, under the lens, before the lens O-ring and the eight lens screws go on. The guide’s light replacement steps begin by removing the lens cover ring, the lens screws, the lens and the diffuser, so it is the first thing you meet when the bubbler is opened for service.

About the bubbler

The ColorVision bubbler pairs the ColorVision niche with a separately sold GloBrite or MicroBrite LED light. It runs on low voltage, 12 VAC at 15 W, offers five fixed colors and seven light shows, and throws a plume up to 24 in high. It needs only low water flow, so several can run in one pool.
