Description

The Pentair 86205100 is a white inlet wall fitting with a 1-1/2 inch threaded connection, sold for vinyl liner pools.

What it does

An inlet fitting is the return, the opening in the wall where water that has been through the pump and filter comes back into the pool. It is a small part doing a constant job, and when it cracks or the threads give up you get a leak behind the wall rather than a dramatic failure at the equipment pad.

Before you order

Check that the fitting you are replacing is the threaded 1-1/2 inch type and not a slip or a different size, since inlet fittings look alike but do not interchange.
