Description

The Maytronics 9991468-R4 is the spring filter kit for Dolphin robotic cleaners, a flat mesh filter meant for the times of year when the pool holds leaves, twigs and other rough debris rather than fine dirt.

Why a coarse filter matters

A fine filter is the right choice most of the season, but at spring opening and through leaf drop it packs solid within minutes. The cleaner then loses flow, climbs badly and stops picking anything up. The flat mesh panel has larger openings, so bulk debris goes into the housing and the cleaner keeps working through the whole cycle.

Which cleaners it suits

Maytronics lists this kit for a long run of Dolphin models, including the Nautilus CC, E10, Escape, Cayman, Proteus DX3, Saturn, Advantage, Echo, Encore, Solo, S50, S100, Active 10, Active 15, T15, T25, Prowler 910, Prowler 917 and Warrior SL. Most owners keep both filter types and change over by season.
