The Hayward AX6000MA3 is the genuine manifold assembly for the Phantom and Phantom Turbo pool cleaners, supplied in white and complete with its hoses and ties.

What the manifold does

The manifold is where suction from the hose is divided and delivered to the cleaner. Everything the Phantom does depends on it holding pressure. A hairline crack in the manifold, or a hose that has hardened and split at a barb, bleeds suction before it ever reaches the floor of the pool, and the cleaner slows down or stops picking up without any obvious single failure.

Why the assembly is the right buy

The hoses and the manifold have been in the same water for the same number of seasons. Patching a single hose on a cleaner that has done years of work usually buys a few weeks before the next one goes.
