Description

This is the S.R. Smith LiftOperator four button hand control, part number 100-4300-R. It carries up, down, left and right on a single handset.

The part that wears out first

A hand control lives a hard life. It is handled wet, it hangs off the lift in the sun, and its cable gets pulled and pinched. When buttons stop responding or the housing cracks, the handset is the failure, and replacing it is normally quicker and cheaper than troubleshooting further into the lift.

Matching the number

S.R. Smith paperwork shows this control under more than one number. The manufacturer part number is 100-4300-R, and the same handset also turns up as 1001600 and 1004300. Any of those on your manual or service records points here. Check that your lift is set up for the four button control before ordering.
