The Raypak 014874F is the copper tube bundle assembly for 106A BTU heaters built with polymer heads. It is the genuine Raypak part and arrives as a complete assembly.

What the tube bundle does

The bundle is the heat transfer core of the heater. Pool water runs through the copper tubes while the burner fires beneath them, and everything else in the cabinet exists to serve that exchange. When the bundle leaks, corrodes or scales up badly, the heater stops making heat efficiently and can start dumping water into the cabinet.

Getting the right version

Raypak builds tube bundles to suit both the heater size and the header material. This one is the copper bundle for 106A BTU units with polymer heads. Read the model plate on the heater and look at what the existing heads are made from before ordering, because the wrong combination will not seal up correctly.
