The Raypak 009505 is the PoolStat cover with lock, the genuine factory cover for the PoolStat temperature control on Raypak pool heaters.

What it is for

The cover fits over the PoolStat control and locks shut. That keeps the set temperature from being nudged by anyone who walks past the heater, which matters on rental properties, HOA pools and clubs where gas use has to be predictable. It also keeps weather and grit off the control.

Model coverage

Raypak documents this part in two ways. One reference lists it for models 206A through 406A atmospheric and 207A through 407A Low NOx. Another lists it for models 206A, 207A, R185A and R185B. Both readings are given here rather than picking one, so check your heater against each before ordering.
