Description

The Poolguard DAPT-2 is a door and gate alarm for homes with a swimming pool. It sounds when the protected door or gate is opened, which turns a silent exit into something you hear.

Why the door

Most children who drown in a pool leave the house through the back door first. A fence and a cover both help, but neither of them tells you that someone has just stepped outside. The door alarm does, and it does it before anyone reaches the water.

Listings and build

The DAPT-2 is UL listed under UL 2017 and complies with building codes. Poolguard has been building pool, door and gate alarms since 1982, and every product it makes is manufactured in the United States.
