Description

The Pentair 070927 is the foot base for Pentair pumps, the mounting foot the pump body sits on and bolts down through.

Why the foot matters

It looks like a throwaway piece of plastic, but the foot sets the pump at the right height and holds it steady against the suction and discharge plumbing. When the foot cracks, the pump gets to move a little every time it starts and stops, and that movement goes straight into the unions and the pipe glue joints. A rocking pump is how a small crack turns into a leak on the pad.

Fitment

Pentair lists this foot base across the IntelliFlo VS 3050 and VF pumps and the WhisperFlo WF and WFE pumps. Check the foot on your pump against the photo before ordering, since Pentair has used more than one foot design over the years.
