Description

The Pentair 229910 is the plastic installation tool for G4, G4V and G4VHP cleaning heads. It is the tool the heads are designed to be handled with.

Why a dedicated tool

In floor cleaning heads sit flush in the pool floor and have to be lifted out to be cleared or replaced. The collar is plastic, and anything with a metal edge marks it. The 229910 grips the head properly so it seats and releases cleanly, which matters when there are a dozen of them in the floor and you would rather not damage any.

Keeping heads working

Heads clog with grit and lose rotation. The ones that get serviced are the ones that are easy to get at, and a proper tool is most of what makes that true.
