What the board does

The digital thermostat board is where the heater reads its temperature set point and decides whether to call for heat. When it fails, the heater can look dead at the panel, refuse a new set point, or simply never fire even though gas and water are both fine.

Pentair lists this board under the MiniMax Plus and the MiniMax CH 150M to 400M heater parts. Confirm the model on your heater and confirm you need the IID board, because these heaters were built with more than one thermostat board.

Before you order

This listing is the board alone. Sensors, harnesses and the enclosure are separate parts, so if a sensor is the actual fault the board will not fix it. Diagnose the sensors and the wiring first, then replace the board.
