Description

PKG 188Z is the Pentair half union kit with a 2 inch slip connection. The socket end solvent welds to 2 inch PVC and the union nut carries the joint at the pump port.

Where it goes

Pentair lists this kit for the IntelliPro variable speed pump built before 2019, the Max-E-Pro series, the Dyna-Pro and Dyna-Pro E, and the Dyna-Wave series. Unions are the reason a pump can be pulled for service without a saw, so a cracked nut or a weeping joint is worth fixing properly rather than sealing over.

Before you order

This is the half union package. Most pumps have a union at each port, so decide whether you are replacing one side or both. The same part number turns up under the Sta-Rite name in some catalogs, and the part number is the thing to match.
