The Jandy R0840300 is the TruClear cable assembly with the cell side wire connector, for the Jandy TruClear salt chlorinator (model TRUCLEAR11K). It is a Jandy part for the electrical connection on the cell side of the system.

How the TruClear connects

Jandy describes the TruClear cell as removable, with an attached cord and a tool-free twist-lock connector for the electrical connection to the power pack. Jandy’s manual says the cell must be installed horizontally with the cord facing upwards, so that flammable gases cannot build up around it.

Before you order

Confirm that you have a TruClear before ordering. Jandy lists the TruClear cell (R0693900), cell housing (R0694000), O-ring (R0694100) and power pack (R0802200) as separate parts, so this cable assembly is not any of those. A TruClear treats pools up to 35,000 gallons, produces 18.4 g of chlorine an hour and runs on 120 or 240 VAC.
