The Hayward SPX0580A is the molded plastic face rim for the Astrolite pool light, supplied in white. It is the genuine Hayward part, with an outer dimension of 10 3/4.

What it is, and what it is not

This is the plastic rim. Hayward also makes a stainless steel face ring for the same fixture, and the two are ordered separately, so decide which finish you have before you buy. The rim is the visible face of the light in the wall, and it also clamps down the lens and gasket assembly behind it.

Which fixtures it covers

The source data calls out the 580 series only, while the parts diagram this rim sits on is titled for both the SP0580 and SP0590 series. That is worth resolving against your own fixture before ordering. Read the model number off the light itself rather than assuming from the niche.

While the light is open

If you have the fixture out for a new rim, look at the lens gasket at the same time. It is a separate part and it is the seal that keeps water out of the light.
