Description

The Hammerhead Mount Upright Bar, HH1304, is the vertical mount brace beam for the Hammerhead Service vacuum vehicle mount, sold as the upright on its own.

What is and is not in the box

You get the upright bar. The mount clamp and the hitch adapter are separate Hammerhead items. If more than the bar has failed, Hammerhead also lists a mount assembly with a stainless steel clamp and a complete mount assembly set, HH1306.

Cart compatibility

Hammerhead builds the vehicle mount for its Service units only. The Resort units use a different cart and do not mount, so this upright is not for a Resort cart. Confirm which cart you have before ordering.

Mount safety

The hitch adapter bolts to the upright with U-bolts, and Hammerhead warns never to install the adapter on the upright with only one U-bolt. It also says the mount must always be secured to the receiver with a hitch pin and that the clamp and mount must be inspected regularly for tightness and wear. A bent or cracked upright is worth replacing rather than straightening, because it carries the whole mount.
