Description

The FX Luminaire SP is a path light for landscape lighting, and this build is the copper finish with a 12 inch riser and a 20 watt LED. The part number is SPLED20W12RCU, also written SP-LED20W-12R-CU.

Copper and the riser height

Copper is chosen because it ages rather than fails. A painted finish chips at the mower line and looks tired in a season or two, while copper takes on a patina and keeps looking deliberate. The 12 inch riser lifts the fixture above low planting so the light lands on the path and not in the shrub it is sitting behind.

Matching a run

SP path lights come in several combinations of wattage, riser height and finish. If you are extending an existing run, match the full part code so the new fixture sits at the same height and reads as the same light.
