Description

SMA Double Female Barrel Coaxial AdapterThe SMA-2711 is a compact SMA double-female bulkhead panel or chassis style coaxial adapter featuring an SMA female jack on each end. It is designed to connect two SMA male cables, antennas, or RF devices together, providing a secure threaded connection for a wide range of radio-frequency applications. This barrel-style (bullet) adapter is an excellent solution for extending coaxial cable runs, connecting RF components, changing connection configurations, and reducing wear on equipment ports. Its barrel design makes it useful when connecting two male-ended coaxial cables or when a female-to-female connection is needed between RF components.Extend Cable Runs: Connect two SMA male coaxial cables together to create a longer cable assembly.Connect RF Components: Join antennas, cables, radios, SDR equipment, and other SMA-equipped devices.Protect Equipment Ports: Use the adapter as an intermediate connection to help reduce repeated mating and wear on an equipment’s built-in connector.Reliable RF Connection: The 50-ohm SMA interface is widely used for RF and microwave applications requiring a compact, threaded coaxial connection.Key FeaturesPart Number: SMA-2711Impedance: 50 OhmsFrequency Range: DC18 GHzBody Material: Gold plated brass alloyCenter Contact: Gold plated beryllium copper alloyThread: Standard 1/4″-36 UNS SMA threadOrientation: Bulkhead panel mountCommon ApplicationsThe SMA-2711 can be used in a variety of RF and wireless applications, including:Wi-Fi antennas and wireless networkingSoftware-defined radio (SDR) equipmentHandheld ham radiosFPV drones and video transmission systemsRF test and measurement equipmentAntenna and coaxial cable assembliesWireless communication equipmentRF prototyping and laboratory setupsNote: The actual component may differ slightly in appearance.
